silverwindandGitHub 7f3b4a0bdd fix(ui): misc ui fixes (#39336)
1. Give menu items an inset pill highlight, text position and menu width are unchanged in most menus
1. Add arrow key, Enter, Space and Escape handling to all tippy menus
1. Mark the keyboard cursor of fomantic and tippy menus with the focus ring instead of the hover background
1. Mark the current dropdown item with the active color so it stands out from the hovered one
1. Stop navbar dropdown links from taking the navbar item hover color
1. Replace the actions job log options dropdown with the shared tippy menu, its hover highlight was invisible
1. Stop changing font weight on active and selected menu items, it resized rows while arrowing
1. Stretch the "All extensions" button in the diff file extension filter to the full menu width
1. Fix the actions run summary block covering the panel's rounded corners and indenting wrapped stats

McMichalKandGitHub 2bcf950b78 feat(diff): Add search and extension filter to diff sidebar (#37068)
Adds a search box and a file-extension filter to the pull request diff
sidebar, so reviewers can narrow a large diff down to the files they
care about.

Both filters apply to the file tree and to the diff itself. The
extension menu follows GitHub: extensions sorted alphabetically,
dotfiles and extension-less files in their own buckets, and the
selection kept in the same `file-filters[]` query parameter, so a
filtered view is shareable and survives a reload.

The menu can list every extension in a diff, so `createTippy` gains an
opt-in `limitSizeToViewport` option that caps a popup to the space left
in the viewport and scrolls its content. Popups that do not ask for it
are unchanged.

silverwindandGitHub e81ab0a5ea refactor: prepare vue components for vapor mode (#38798)
Removes what would block a later switch to Vue's vapor mode:
`vue-chartjs` and the `SvgIcon` render function are virtual DOM
components, and `v-memo` has no vapor equivalent. This does not adopt
vapor mode, which will be stable in upcoming Vue 3.6.

`vue-chartjs` was a thin wrapper over chart.js, so a local
`ChartCanvas.vue` replaces it. Chart data and options move into computed
values to keep their object identity, which is what `v-memo` was
compensating for.

`chartjs-adapter-dayjs-4` is moved first-party, just ~40 lines that are
easy to maintain.

silverwindandGitHub c6836d0abb refactor: migrate remaining Vue components to <script setup> (#38752)
Migrates the last four Options API components, so all 20 `.vue` files
now use `<script setup>`, and disables the Vue Options API runtime. This
will enable optimizations like Vue Vapor mode in the future.

Bug fixes done while migrating and testing:

- Branch selector: arrowing onto "Create branch …" threw a `TypeError`,
and Enter on it did nothing
- Dashboard: the search term was not escaped, so `&` injected query
parameters and `#` truncated the request
- Dashboard: an unknown `repo-search-filter` threw, and names like
`constructor` leaked `Object.prototype` members into the request
- Dashboard: an unknown archived/private filter rendered `function
Object() { [native code] }` as a checkbox tooltip
- Dashboard: removed a dropdown init that always ran against a
not-yet-rendered element
- Branch selector: the `document.body` click listener was never removed
on unmount
- Contributors: the chart plugin relied on an undeclared chart.js field
- Contributors: `contributorsStats` was mutated behind a `shallowRef`,
so future readers would not update
- Removed template attributes and pageData keys that no component had
read for years

6e7991316c Refactor text utility classes to Tailwind CSS (#36703)
Replace Fomantic/custom CSS text utility classes with their Tailwind
equivalents:

- `.text.<color>` compound classes → `tw-text-<color>` classes
- `.text.small` (`font-size: 0.75em`) → `tw-text-xs` (11px)
- `.text.truncate` (`overflow-x: hidden; text-overflow: ellipsis;
white-space: nowrap; display: inline-block`) → `tw-inline-block
tw-truncate`

Remove the now-unused CSS rules from `base.css` and `dashboard.css`.

46d7adefe0 Enable TypeScript strictNullChecks (#35843)
A big step towards enabling strict mode in Typescript.

There was definitely a good share of potential bugs while refactoring
this. When in doubt, I opted to keep the potentially broken behaviour.
Notably, the `DOMEvent` type is gone, it was broken and we're better of
with type assertions on `e.target`.

Lunny XiaoandGitHub be2a6b4414 Fix bug when review pull request commits (#35192)
The commit range in the UI follows a half-open, half-closed convention:
(,]. When reviewing a range of commits, the beforeCommitID should be set
to the commit immediately preceding the first selected commit. For
single-commit reviews, we must identify and use the previous commit of
that specific commit.

The endpoint ViewPullFilesStartingFromCommit is currently unused and can
be safely removed.

507fbf4c3c Use querySelector over alternative DOM methods (#31280)
As per
https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/30115#discussion_r1626060164,
prefer `querySelector` by enabling
[`unicorn/prefer-query-selector`](https://github.com/sindresorhus/eslint-plugin-unicorn/blob/main/docs/rules/prefer-query-selector.md)
and autofixing all except 10 issues.

According to
[this](https://old.reddit.com/r/learnjavascript/comments/i0f5o8/performance_of_getelementbyid_vs_queryselector/),
querySelector may be faster as well, so it's a win-win.

Enable us to use tailwind's

well as remove `gt-mono` in favor of `tw-font-mono`. I also merged the
"compensation" to one selector, previously this was two different values

there will ever be a use case for those. Command ran:

silverwindandGitHub 3d751b6ec1 Enforce trailing comma in JS on multiline (#30002)
To keep blame info accurate and to avoid [changes like
this](https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/29977/files#diff-c3422631a14edbe1e508c4b22f0c718db318be08a6e889427802f9b6165d88d6R359),
it's good to always have a trailing comma, so let's enforce it in JS.

This rule is completely automatically fixable with `make lint-js-fix`
and that's what I did here.

f88ad5424f Replace 10 more gt- classes with tw- (#29945)
Likely the biggest change of the tailwind refactors. Only thing of note
is that `tw-flex-1` resolves to `flex: 1 1 0%` while our `gt-f1` was

- Resolves https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/22493
- Related to https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/4520

Some admins prefer all timestamps to display the full date instead of
relative time. They can do that now by setting

```ini
[ui]
PREFERRED_TIMESTAMP_TENSE = absolute
```

This setting is set to `mixed` by default, allowing dates to render as
"5 hours ago". Here are some screenshots of the UI with this setting set
to `absolute`:

silverwindandGitHub ae8e8f055e Use fetch helpers instead of fetch (#27026)
WIP because:

- [x] Some calls set a `content-type` but send no body, can likely
remove the header
- [x] Need to check whether `charset=utf-8` has any significance on the
webauthn calls, I assume not as it is the default for json content.
- [x] Maybe `no-restricted-globals` is better for eslint, but will
require a lot of duplication in the yaml or moving eslint config to a
`.js` extension.
- [x] Maybe export `request` as `fetch`, shadowing the global.

9a3de436f4 Reorder blocks in vue SFCs (#26874)
The [recommended order](https://vuejs.org/guide/scaling-up/sfc.html) for
SFC blocks is script -> template -> style, which we were violating
because template and script were swapped. I do find script first also
easier to read because the imports are on top, letting me immideatly see
a component's dependencies.

This is a pure cut-paste refactor with some removal of some empty lines.

55532061c8 Add commits dropdown in PR files view and allow commit by commit review (#25528)
This PR adds a new dropdown to select a commit or a commit range

After selection of a commit only the changes of this commit will be shown.
When selecting a range of commits the diff of this range is shown.

This allows to review a PR commit by commit or by viewing only commit ranges.
The "Show changes since your last review" mechanism github uses is implemented, too.
When reviewing a single commit or a commit range the "Viewed" functionality is disabled.
